The word “pure” has never revealed an intelligent meaning to me.

Voile Mer is the Veil in the Sea, the forest alive beneath the surface.

Our soul yearns for the Sea, a longing to return to the Sea, our home.

Our innate connection and draw to the Sea reminds us that this is where it all began, our veins flow with salt water and our chests rise and fall like the tide.

The seaweed – Kelp forms cathedrals from the sea floor to the sea ceiling. A forest below, it is ethereal, transcendent and green.  The light dances through the kelp canopy creating a sanctum.

My soul feels a sense of peace and well-being.   A feeling of being good in ones skin, of returning home prevails.

The salty air infused with jasmine and muguet as you swim upwards to the blue of the sky. The waves lapping on your skin and sounds of laughter of children at play.  Swimming together, skin on skin, souls merging in the salt of the Sea.

The Sea is Heaven of blue salt and crystal. Purifying and clarifying!

The parfum is a watery composition of seaweed, oakmoss, salt, amber, jasmine and muguet.  

Seaweed is slightly transparent, soft and diaphanous like a painting in the water.  The parfum evokes the visibility of the seaweed.

Seaweed extract is grounding and purifying for the soul.

Oakmoss essence has a deep earthy woody aroma promoting a sense of peace and bringing the green of the ancient forest to the parfum.

Jasmine blossom absolut stimulates the feeling of harmony and optimism.

French Muguet’s elegant sweet floral bell shape is borne in sprays during springtime bringing a sense of tender happiness and inspiration.

Amber brings its Golden light to the parfum evoking the dappled sunlight on the waves.

Sea salt provides a divine protection – mineral, pure and spiritual.

Voile Mer parfum is created by Master Perfumer Maurice Roucel, inspired by the kelp cathedrals of the Sea.

This is the ninth parfum created by Shalini and Maurice. This new series is inspired by the home of the soul, our favorite places where we experience a feeling of deep relaxation.
